Crowning the incomparable P.Withers!

Hi all! I got the fun chance of giving radio personality Precious “P.Withers” of the P.Withers Experience a real crowning moment last night on WVON!

I was on a show exploring the topic of ethnic women, beauty, media, and stereotypes. I had a great time and also got to speak a bit about the empowerment that the Miss Black USA Organization provides young women of color:)

So, we are now less than a month away from the National pageant! Truly surreal feeling after having been on this journey for about a year. Let’e go Illinois!

If you would like to help, there are plenty of ways. Let’s highlight 3 ways here:

1. Vote Illinois for Miss Black USA’s “People’s Choice”!

2. Donate towards #TeamIllinois!

3. Follow Me on Twitter: @Officialimanij
